A sculptural vase crafted from red clay sourced from Sansepolcro, Tuscany, hand-thrown into a flared shape. The surface is adorned with geometric reliefs, spherical motifs, and Renaissance-inspired bas-relief decorations, all painstakingly handcrafted. This vase is a hallmark of Maestro Mengoni’s distinctive expertise in the abborchiato embossing technique. The vase is further enriched with a radiant finish of pure 24kt gold, applied using the terzo fuoco ( third firing) technique. Its surface is manually antiqued with a secret natural blend infused with sandalwood ash. The artist’s signature is engraved into the clay on the visible surface of the vase.
