The surface is intricately adorned with geometric reliefs, spherical motifs, and Renaissance-inspired bas-relief decorations, all meticulously crafted by hand. This piece is a quintessential expression of Maestro Mengoni’s unique mastery of the abborchiato technique. The vase is further elevated by a lustrous pure platinum finish, applied using the terzo fuoco (third firing) technique. Its surface undergoes a manual antiquing process, enriched with a secret natural blend infused with sandalwood ash. The artist’s signature is engraved into the clay on the visible surface of the vase.
